Reliable waterproofing lives or dies at the joints, and ButylXpress Pro tanking tape is built to seal them properly. Available as a 120mm-wide roll in either 10m or 30m lengths, it uses the same self-adhesive butyl rubber sealing compound that runs through the wider system, bridging seams, laps and board junctions with a continuous, watertight seal.

It is one of the detailing pieces you fit first: peel the liner, centre the tape over the joint and press it firmly home so the butyl grips both faces. Once every joint, corner and penetration is sealed, you cover the walls and floors with the fleece-faced ButylXpress Pro membrane, and that fleece surface is what you tile straight onto.
